Signing of framework agreement about mountain accessiblity

On October 9th 2019, Brescia University, Sentieri Accessibili S.r.l., L’Amministratore del Cuore Onlus, Active Sporte a.s.d., Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica and Sol.co Camunia signed a framework agreement for educational and scientific collaboration. The objective will be a study program on the theme "Accessibility of the mountain". Specifically it will cover cultural structures, such as UNESCO sites, archaeological parks and museums, sports facilities, such as ski slopes, footpaths and pedestrian paths and tourist facilities, such as hotels and restaurants, also with the aim of spreading the practice of tourism accessible and encourage, where possible, the employment of disadvantaged people through the launch of specific projects.
Brescia University’s Brixia Accessibility Lab – BrAL interdepartmental lab, will coordinate the research activity and it will enhance and integrate the activities and initiatives already implemented in the Valle Camonica area by the subscribing subjects to the agreement.
At the press conference, on the signing of the convention, there were: the Rector Maurizio Tira, the delegate for disabilities Alberto Arenghi, Sentieri Accessibili president Walter Martello, L’Amministratore del Cuore Onlus legal representative Paolo Badiini, Active Sport president Marco Colombo, Comunità Montana della Valle Camonica president Sandro Farisoglio and Sol.co Consortium president.
